Failed Uninstall of Downloaded 1Password 4 [resolved]
I initially installed the version of 1P from the website. Then I learned that in order to use the iCloud syncing features, I needed to purchase it from the App store. I tried to uninstall the downloaded copy, first by deleting the app, then using an uninstall application I found from Agilebits website. However, when I installed the newly purchased copy from the App store, and tried to log in for the first time, the app could not find the data files generated from the first copy of 1P that I had deleted. So I had to create a new account. But now, when I use the Safari ext. to create log-ins, it does not sync with the app. Is it because I did not uninstall the first 1P properly? If so, how can I uninstall it? Help!

Hi @gar,
Please try restarting your Mac to begin with.
If that doesn't work, please email us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic, to: support+forum@agilebits.com
A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, JasperP! A simple reboot seems to have done the trick. Yay, easy fix!
