Upgraded from 3.8 to 4. Says it synced, my master password logged me in, but no data is populated.

As stated in title. Just upgraded from 3.8 on Mac to 4 from AppStore. Downloaded, installed, opened with Master Password from v3.8, no logins, or any other data is in v 4 window. Everything is still there on v3.8, both state they are syncing to correct folder. I already had v4 for iPhone/iPad on other devices, and it always has worked. Ideas? is there a preference file on v4 I should trash and have it resync?

    nevermind, disabled syncing and readied my dropbox vault and all is there. This should be something that automatically happens when upgrading from 3 to 4 :(
