"There is a problem with the Dropbox service."

I have 1Password 4 on a Mac Mini and also on a MacBook Air (4.2.2), and sync these with the 1Password app (4.3.2) on my iPhone. Several weeks ago I switched syncs from iCloud to Dropbox. Now, however, the iPhone seems to have developed problems "seeing" the data on Dropbox. The sync window (on the iPhone) shows the blue progress bar filling, then it pauses partway across, and a red exclamation mark appears. After a further pause, the error message appears, "There is a problem with the Dropbox service."

I've searched the forum and tried the solutions in some other threads (such as http://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/20035/an-unknown-error-occurred-when-trying-to-sync-via-dropbox). E.g.:
a) I toggled the Dropbox sync off, then on again -- the same problem appeared.
b) I then uninstalled the Dropbox app and the 1Password app, then reinstalled both of them and set them up from scratch -- the same problem appeared.

What if anything should I try next?

I just tried restarting the iCloud sync, letting that proceed all the way to completion -- then turning off the iCloud sync and restarting the Dropbox sync. This seems to have worked!
