How to tell Mac App Store version apart from AgileBits version?

Is there a way to tell if any given installation of 1Password was purchased at the AppStore or from Agilebits directly?

    Hi @OnePswrd,

    One way to tell is if the main application has 1Password 4 in the main menu it's a website/beta version and if just 1Password it's a Mac App Store version. For more details see: here, post #24.
