1Password not showing up in iTunes

I have purchased 1Password for the iPad as well as the iPhone. What I cannot figure out is why it doesn't show up in iTunes when I sync the iPad and then click Devices-ipad-apps. It shows on the screen as being on one of the iPad pages, but is not listed in the left column. Anyone have any suggestions as to why? It does show up on a list when I look up purchases.

    Hi @drbrady717‌

I'm sorry you're having trouble downloading 1Password 4 for iOS on your iPad. There are a few things to check here:

    • Is your iPad on iOS6+? ( 1Password 4 for iOS requires iOS6 or higher to run )
    • Do you have any parental controls enabled on your iPad? ( Because 1Password has a built-in browser, it does have a 17+ rating, so you will need to disable parental controls to install)
    • Are you logged in with the same AppleID as you made the original purchase?

I have 1Password working on both my iPad air (New) and my iPhone 5s. That is not the issue. I just want to know why it doesn't show up when you plug in the phone or iPad to iTunes and then click "devices, iPad, apps" on my desktop computer iTunes?

My computer shows up the 1Password app on the left, but there are no documents on the right hand screen in iTunes. It is blank. How do I get the keychain to show up on the right so I can transfer the keychain through iTunes to my iPad? I've downloaded the latest 1Password to my iPad. In the AgileBits demo, it says,

When you open iTunes and go to its App > File Sharing section, it’ll show you the content of each app’s documents folder and you’ll see your 1Password data file in the 1Password folder. Here’s what it looks like in the iTunes app on the computer.

But that's not what it looks like on my computer. When I click 1Password on the left, the right remains empty.

I've had no luck with the wifi transfer, either. I have both devices connected to wifi, but when I sync, it says, "sync problem. Server error."

    Hi @drbrady717‌

Thanks for clarifying your question for me. In iTunes, go to Store > Check for available downloads. If you're still not seeing the app, please ensure that you are logged in with the correct AppleID. If you have multiple IDs, this might be why 1Password isn't showing up.

    Hi @Mirpurlady‌

The instructions for iTunes File Sharing should help you out here. In particular, you'll need to ensure that 'File Sharing' is enabled in 1Password 4 for iOS. :)
