Templates for commands

1Password and the browser plugins are great tools!
It's really quick and easy to store and use a password in the Web-Context.

But I miss the following possibility:

  • I would like to add templates for commands with variables.
  • At an object (eg. Login) I would like to call the template for a command.

  • 1Password shall fill the variables with the values from the object and
    shall copy the complete command to the clipboard.

  • After that I am able to use the command from the clipboard in a terminal.

At this point an example should be given:

  • I would like to write a template like this:

    mysql -h $Server -u $Username -p \n
$Password

  • After that I would like to call the template at an object "Database".

  • Finally I would like to paste the command into a terminal to login to the database

What do you think about it?
