New to 1Password and ...
Hi , I am puzzled with the process of engaging what was a gift from my spouse , 1Password . I tried to follow the instructions by pressing the offered + selection . While doing this my understanding of the order , or the identity of exactly what I was selecting became confusing to me .
I have attempted to read the instructions when I saw the offer of help in the lower right hand corner of the page I was reading . I selected that with application asking me to create a password . I then created and confirmed this then I wrote this post , lost as to exactly what was being imposed from 1Password onto my portable Mac .
Thank you for any help , and especially all the patience needed to get me going !

Hello again, what should I do if I forgot my password ? There is no selection button to click. Thanks ! Arlene

Do you mean you forgot your master password (i.e., the one you fill in to unlock 1Password initially)? If you input it wrongly a few times (two or three, I think), and you gave a hint for it when you set up 1Password, you'll see the hint to remind you of it.
If you can't remember the master password and have nothing of value yet in 1Password you can start over by following this article in the knowledge base.
If you're having a problem with some other password please post back and explain more fully what it is! In any event post back if you still have problems and someone will always help you.
