Storing, Generating Passwords in Third-Party Apps

We have an app with a login screen that I’m planning on integrating with 1Password for password retrieval. What I really wish I could add are two more features:

  • When a user creates an account, offer to save their password in 1Password if we detect that it’s installed (with a callback URL so they can come back to our app after saving the password)
  • When a user creates an account, offer to generate a password on their behalf. This could either direct to the 1Password app and come back, or (preferably) integrate some 1Password code into our app to do the generation, then integrate as above to save the password.

If this isn’t the best place to suggest this, let me know.
