All my items are gone. [moved to email]
Mac Pro running Mavericks. Recently you updated my 1PassWord to 4.2.2. I just opened it and found that it is totally new and blank. All my saved login passwords have disappeared. How can that happen??? (Actually, it now has one log-in PW, that for your stoopid program.)

Please provide more details to enable others to help you. In particular, do you use iCloud or Dropbox sync? If you go to 1P4 > Preferences > Backup do you have a list of backups there? If the answer to all of those is negative when did you last backup your Mac Pro?

Yes the data may be on my backup drives-(2 external and another internal). I have them turned off and have been afraid to check. I was looking for some error before I turn one one. Last backup to all 3 was 2/25/14 SuperDuper. I'll turn one on and see what ensues. Since no one seems to have had this happen, it is somehow related to my system. If I learn anything, I'll report back. Right now, iCloud and DropBox show the same as the application on my computer HD.

I have 2 logins saved on what seems to be a new 1Password application. There are 3 backups as noted above, 2 of which have been turned off since 2/25/14. (The 2nd int. HD was also backed up to on 2/25/14.) I have turned on and opened all HD's. All 3 now open to the new screen with the 2 logins that I placed today. No sign of my old list of login passwords. ALSO: now when I click on the icon for 1PW in the dock, the screen appears WITHOUT asking me to type in my 1PW password.

It seems like I am conversing with myself but maybe someone will read this. Frustrated as above, I made one of the ext. HD's the startup disk. Amazingly, there is 1PW 4.1.3. I had to enter my master PW and there were all my saved entries (137). Very quickly, a small screen appeared advising that Update 4.2.2 from 1 PW was available. Did I want to install? Any suggestions from my rapt audience? Can I uninstall 4.2.2 on my usual int. HD, and start with a new install of 4.2.2? Will I run into trouble with my license? Right now, I am switching back to int. HD as startup and will await any help that may be offered.
