Problems with Autofill & Submit

When I try to autofill and submit my username and password it says I have the wrong email or password. Both are correct in 1Password. I end up having to cut and paste either the email address or password in order to login successfully. Is there a problem with autofill/submit with this particular page?

Sometimes re-creating and saving the login manually solves problems like this. Does it help in your case?

I have the same problem with citicards. https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do
I have saved the login manually and automatically. Neither one will fill the username. When I try to login to citibank from 1Password4 the username refuses to fill and thus no login. I am using Version 4.2.2 on a MacBook pro.

@harveyt I had delete the login information from 1Password, then I cleared my browser cache "option(alt)+command+e" and history. I went back to the login page, entered my username and password manually, saved the new login when prompted by 1Password and it worked.

chriskinsman I tried all of that. Still the same problem. Attempting to login via 1Password will not fill the username.

    Hi @harveyt‌

Have a readthrough of a related discussion here. The current version of the extension does have some difficulty with this site, but our developers have managed to improve the filling here, and the beta extension is handling things a lot better. I can't tell you when the next version of the extension will be released, but you're welcome to try the beta extension now. Simply go to https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html and select the 'enable betas' option.

I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions!

    Hi @Megan,
Enabling the beta version did not help with citibank.
    Thanks,

What worked for me is to delete the problem login and then follow the instructions in help about creating a new login manually. Here's the link: http://learn2.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/saving-logins-manually.html

    Hi @harveyt‌

My apologies, as @casacook‌ mentions, please ensure that you do save a new login (as in the instructions listed) after enabling the beta extension. :)
