feature request: faster log in idea

The one thing that I find annoying with 1Password on iOS is how slow it is to get to the point that it allows me to start typing my password. I launch 1Password, I wait about 5 seconds before I can start typing my password.

I would like to suggest that the password entry box becomes active sooner in the start up process. Everybody using 1Password probably has a pretty complicated master password that will take a while to enter. Can you arrange your code so that the entry box becomes active to make it seem like the application is ready and responsive quickly, then while the user is busy entering their password, 1Password is busy behind the scenes doing all the rest of the start up activities? Then if the user has entered their password before the app is fully ready, the wait time gets added onto the time it normally takes to verify the password and unlock the app.

I think this would give the user a better experience and in general would get the user logged in faster because there is overlap between setup and user text entry.

Thanks
Greg

    Hi Greg ( @gveres ),

Thanks so much for your feedback here. Our developers are working on a great iOS update that should be available soon, and it includes some improvements to the lock screen ... stay tuned!
