Changed password for Gmail; account now a mess

Let me keep this very simple.

I have 2 Gmail accounts.

One is a throwaway I reserve for use at sites where I must register and know that they will inundate me with all sorts of junk mail.

The other is my workaday Gmail account.

Following directions on this site, I changed the passwords for both accounts

Everything is fine on my MB Pro, where I made the changes. Ditto on my iPhone

On my iPad, however, when I go to the workaday account login in 1Password, it shows my workaday account. But when I then click on the Website in 1Password, if fills in NOT my workaday account, but my throwaway account and of course I cannot log in.

How do I fix this?

    Sorry not to provide an immediate answer for you but if you tell us how you synchronising the iPad someone will be able to provide more help.

    Always seem to forget to include something. I sync using Dropbox.

    I may have hit on a solution. Simply delete the entry from 1PWD, then log into that throwaway account as if I were adding it to 1PWD for the first time. No?

    Yes, I suspect what you're in effect doing to re-creating and saving the login manually, but that doesn't get to the bottom of why the sync didn't work, of course. I hope someone else can help you with that because I don't use Dropbox.

    Thanks, Stephen. I will wait awhile and see if someone else offers a suggestion before deleting and recreating that account in 1PWD.

    Let's see if we can determine if sync is actually hung up somewhere.

    • Create a test entry on your Mac ("Test, Mac") and add some data
    • Create a test entry on your iOS devices ("Test, iPhone/iPad") and add some data
    • Does 'test for Mac' show up on your iOS devices?
    • Does 'test for iPhone/iPad' show up on your Mac?
    • Log in to the Dropbox website and click on the 1Password.html file inside your 1Password.agilekeychain folder
    • Enter your Master Password
    • Do any of your test entries show up in your database here?

    Please let me know the results of this little experiment. If all of the test entries show up correctly, we'll try Stephen's suggestion of recreating the Login.
