Forgot Application Password

I set a password for Quicken on my Mac and can not remember what it was. I thought that 1Password 4 would remember it, but it is not there. I do not know how to reset it. I went through the FAQs but could not find any help. I sure would like to get back to using accessing my banking info.

    1Password remembers passwords for web sites, but not for standalone applications. It won't fill them into standalone applications either. It would be cool if it could do that, but I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea what the barriers are to making that happen.

    I think your question is probably about Quicken, not 1Password.

    I do use 1Password to record credentials for applications, but it's all manual.

    Did you save this password in 1Password? Did you use 1Password to generate the password?
