I want to purchase 1password for my Mac, which is running 10.8.2. It says I need 10.8.4, which I cannot install due to compatibility issues with some third party music software. My other laptop only has 10.7. What are my options?

While you wait for official word, I believe AgileBits will tell you that you can still use version 3 in your case. I'm hazy on the process for obtaining a license for version 3 these days. You might need to purchase version 4 and then provide your receipt to them via email for a license key.

Thanks for the info...hopefully I'll receive a reply soon!

  • Hi @gold4it,

1Password 4 for Mac requires OS X 10.8.4 or later.

You'll need to use 1Password 3 on any older versions of OS X. You can download version 3 here: http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/legacy_versions.html

If you own only a version 4 license, please email us your receipt to support@agilebits.com and we can hook you up with a version 3 license key.
