What's this little turnkey in the password field for?

When do you need to use the turnkey next to the password field? When you turn it in the edit mode the password will change, however you're not able to enter this website anymore. If you have to change te password on a website, you have to do it via the webiste itself. When do you use this?

    Thanks Stephen, I still think it's a strange location. You can only use it when you are in the edit mode when you are already on a website with a password. I exactly did the same as in the other thread: used it to modify the password on that specific site (but it doesn't work...). So, it's best to forget this and just start it form the mini 1P.
