Site passwords not being entered in site login page

Forgive me if this has been raised before but I've found that when I log in to a site via 1 Password, the correct User name appears but my 1Password generated password does not and the password field stays very empty, so I can't login, obviously. I can get round that by copying & pasting but that's a farkle! Elderly, but still confused!!!
