Broken iCloud sync between iOS 4.5 and MAS 4.3 and how I fixed it
With great excitement, I downloaded updates for MAS- and iOS versions yesterday. Only to find out that the sync between iPhone/iPad and Mac was broken. Between the two iOS units everything worked fine. And the was no welcome screen or walkthrough when restarting the updated apps.
Here's what I did. I you choose to do the same, it's on your own risk of course.
iPhone/iPad
- Disable iCloud sync in iOS apps.
- Close/force quit iOS apps.
- Disable iPassword in iOS Settings/iCloud/DocumentsData/1Password
Delete app from iOS device
Mac
Backup 1Passw in Settings/backup
- Turn off 1Passw Mini in Settings/general
- Deactivate iCloud sync in Settings/Sync/Change sync. Remember to tick "Remove data from iCloud".
- Quit app.
- OSX Settings/iCloud/Documents and data (options) uncheck 1Password mini
- Navigate to User/Library/Mobile Documents/ and find the two folders ending with "one password-osx-helper" and "onepassword". Trash them.
- Restart Mac. A little salt over the shoulder doesn't hurt.
- OSX Settings/iCloud/Documents and data (options) activate 1Password mini
- Launch 1Password
- Activate iCloud sync
Have a coffe/water/beer/beverage of your choice
iOS devices
- Re-install 1Password
- Enable iPassword in iOS Settings/iCloud/DocumentsData/1Password
- Launch 1Password
- Activate iCloud sync in Settings/Sync
And there I was. Back in my comfort zone.

Hi @magnanamus,
Thanks so much for providing your fix steps here. I sincerely apologize that the update took you out of your comfort zone, but I'm so glad that you were able to get things up and running again. :)
