Feature Request: Unlock to a secondary vault directly [Being considered]

similar issue, but with iOS.
When can we expect the ability to log into a secondary shared vault, without requiring master password for primary account?0 -
Hi @FreemanD,
Thanks for the question! At this time, you do need to access secondary vaults after entering the Master Password for the primary vault, but we've been hearing from many users who would like to be able to access a secondary vault directly.
Our developers are currently looking into the issue, and I'm happy to add a vote to the existing feature request for you! :)

The name "Vault" gives the impression that it's a singular secure location with one access point. I've never heard of a type of vault when opened another vaults door instantly pops open...
Secondary Vaults are advertised as a way to separate and compartmentalize data. However if the primary vault password grants access to ALL vaults, any separation/compartmentalization is moot.
Given that the primary vault is the default it will store most data (web logins etc.) for current 1 Password users. Like me, these users will enter the primary vaults password in semi-public places (like on your phone in the subway, etc.). The secondary vaults could have been a place where very sensitive data was stored, and such day to day /semi public access was not needed, instead they have exactly the same level of security.
I really hope that this change is made.

Is there an update on this issue?
Sounds like lots of people have been complaining about the multiple vaults access pbls, especially on iOS. Help us out here...0 -
Hi @FreemanD,
Thanks so much for checking up on us! Unfortunately, I don't have much of an update for you at this time. This does not mean that we're not working on it. We simply don't make promises on any unreleased features, as there are too many factors involved, many of which are beyond our control, that could affect a feature's release.
I have mentioned to our developers that you are keen on seeing this feature as soon as possible - thanks for your patience! :)

I'd love to know has a decision been made if 1P is going to support this?

Hi @SeanieB
As I mentioned above, I can't provide many details on unreleased features. Please understand that this isn't a simple feature to implement and requires a significant amount of design and architecting. Because we are a small team, the day often isn't long enough for us to implement all of the cool things we'd like to. Again, this doesn't mean that we're not considering the option, but we do appreciate your patience!
In the meantime, if you do have concerns about opening your very sensitive data in a public place, a solution might be to create a secondary 'iOS' vault that contains only your lower security items that you need quick access to. You can then sync only that vault to your iOS device, and leave your more sensitive information locked safely on your desktop. I've heard other users organize their data in such a way, and it sounds like a reasonable workaround to me.
I do apologize that I don't have a better answer for you right now, but I hope this helps! :)

Unfortunately it looks like this didn't make it into the 5.2 update. I hope this is still a feature being worked on, count me in as one who'd love to see it.
