Every time I try to open 1password in Chrome I get "Connecting: 1...2...3...", why does this occur?

This only just started happening after the last update. First it began with Safari, I followed instructions to uninstall and reinstall the plugin for Safari... I figured why not uninstall and reinstall for Chrome as well? Couldn't hurt right? Oh boy was I wrong..

Now every time I try to open up 1Password Chrome extension... I get the evil countdown.

Does anyone know why?

P.S. I fixed the issue by installing the chrome extension from within 1Password. Info on the above is still much appreciated.

    Hi @waltisanasshole,

    It sounds that you still have the old version 3 browser extension installed. You will need the version 4 browser extension if you're using 1Password 4.

    First, please uninstall any existing 1Password extensions from your browser.

    Then, download and install the new extension from here: https://agilebits.com/browsers/index.html
