If my phone dies, how do I retrieve my information stored in the 1Password app?

    Ensure you turn on Dropbox sync so you can at least get all the data again. That requires a free Dropbox account. Inside the 1Password folder on DV there is also an HTML file that you can open which let's you look up info.
    (iCloud would also work but locks you to an Apple device which is fine in my book)

    Unless you do this, your data will not be stored anywhere else and could be lost. Use a strong password for Dropbox but make sure it is memorable. Your passwords are encrypted but the URLs currently are not

    Hi @newcomer_hayes,

    Syncing to Dropbox or iCloud will allow you to retrieve your data if your phone ever dies. Just make sure you know your Apple or Dropbox password so you can login. :)

    Also, if you backup your phone to iCloud or iTunes, you could retrieve your data that way as well.

    To double check if 1Password is included in iCloud backups:

    • Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage
    • Select your device from the Backups list.
    • Find 1Password in the list, and ensure it is selected.
