PIN vs main password behaviour

Hi,

I've noticed myself accidentally pressing 'enter' after I've entered the PIN in the new 1P for iOS 4.5. This results in having to enter the main password again. Which is cumbersome. I would love to see the numeric keyboard when I need to enter the PIN or that the enter key is not taken into account (e.g. blocked).

Thanks
Jan

  • Hello Jan! Thanks for taking the time to write in. Make sure you grab the 4.5.1 update from the App Store (available now as a free update to 4.5). We fixed this problem in this version. Check it out and let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. Thanks for being a 1Password customer!

Hi, I forgot to mention that it was on the iPad version. I'm not sure if that device has a numeric keyboard available. To my knowledge I'm at the latest version.

    Hi @janpeeters‌

You can determine what your version number is by going to the Settings Pane. Scroll down to just below the 'Recommend 1Password' button and you'll see the version number.

Is pressing 'Enter' still requiring the Master Password in this version?
