I can't believe in all the development the goofy little arrow/triangles used to copy / reveal item(s) have not been addressed. I'm quite used to them now, however, I'd like to suggest that since you haven't taken any of the advice to change the behaviour, that you make the grey triangles bigger to represent the actual touch area. It was maddening to me to get them to work until I figured out that they are NOT representative of the ACTUAL touch target.

I maintain that it would be better to allow you to touch the whole item, not the small little triangles, however, I think making them bigger would at least make it more intuitive (and also represent the ACTUAL touch area).

I'd also strongly suggest you guys look at LastPass. I've given up on my iPhone, and have moved to Android, and LastPass is simply incredible on Android. I know you guys don't seem too focused on Android (I mean in relation to the (i)OS(X) development), but here's hoping! (I'm thinking or the application filling and better browser (LastPass), on par with your iOS application).

So I don't know how I missed it, but you can touch URLs to open a browser? WHAT? How on earth did I miss that? Anyways, found a bug. Hopefully this will help. I have 2 about.me logins saved (don't ask). One of the entries was saved as my login name, one as my email. The email login's URL is pointed to https://about.me/ Click the link, open the browser, navigate to /login/ (from https://about.me -> https://about.me/login), and the form is not filled and the key at the bottom does nothing. Not sure if this is a bug for 2 logins (with same domain, different dirs or what). However, the username login directs directly to https://about.me/login/ It fills the username, however, it does not list the email in the key at the bottom. I've gotten the key to actually show the logins for sites with a single saved entry, however, if there is more than one entry, it seems to fail. (And the weird login glitch mentioned above). If you need more help testing this, I have about 7 google logins I can mess with, but I'm tired tonight.

Good luck with the candidate.

  • Hi Jake,

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I will pass on your comments to our development team - in particular, your comments about the copy/reveal mechanism and the bug in the browser when two logins point to the same domain. As far as deeper integration with other browsers and apps go, we have lots of ideas for what we can do in this space, but we're not ready to announce anything yet. Sorry to tease, but you'll have to stay tuned to find out.

    Cheers,
    Michael
