In a weird state after switching to iCloud sync
The name of my vault is now a long string of numbers, and some of my password data is missing on my Mac (but is intact on my iPhone and iPad).
Help?

Hi @ehed,
That long string of number means that your internal 1Password database file is locked and 1Password can't read it because of that.
A simple restart of the app should resolve this issue and if not, a reboot will help. Once you're back up, it should sync in the data from your iOS data assuming 1Password is syncing without any issues.

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately I had to take action before you replied, I switched back to Dropbox syncing instead of iCloud syncing and it seems fine now (except that my helper log files are hundreds of GB, but I just opened another thread about that.
