Syncing ipad and mac

I'm new at this and trying to figure out why the ipad will not show 1password 4. Do I need to purchase 1password 4 for the ipad also? The purchase of 1password 4 does not show up in ipad apps purchases. I tried to Sync with ipad and nothing shows up in icloud. I thought the ipad and Mac was not looking at the same icloud but all other apps show up on both Mac and ipad in icloud. Any instructions would be available.

The iOS app is, in fact, a separate purchase from the deskto pversions. If you want to take advantage of the great integration, you will need to make another buy. Personally, I think you will find it worth the price.
