    Hi @alzaba,

Here's how to log in to a website that you have saved in 1Password:

    1. If you are already viewing the page you wish to fill in 1Browser:
    • Click the key icon in the menu-bar
    • 1Password will show you a list of the Logins that match the URL you are visiting
    • Tap the correct one to have 1Password fill and submit (when enabled) your details
    1. To have 1Password open the page and fill your details:
    • Find the Login you wish to use in the Logins list
    • While viewing the item's details, tap on the URL
    • 1Browser will open the page and fill your details

I hope this gets you sorted out, but we're happy to help if you have any further questions!

1Password for iOS can't fill in credentials to native apps. It can't do that in the desktop versions either. You'll have to copy and paste for those. I think that was your original question. @Megan explained how to use it with web sites, which works well most of the time, in my own experience.

    Hi @alzaba‌

My apologies! I completely misread your original post. (Thanks @hawkmoth‌ for correcting me there!)

Unfortunately, due to sandboxing restrictions put into place by Apple, 1Password cannot directly interface with other apps. Unless the app has included support for 1Password explicitly, we cannot do anything (like filling) in another app. These sandboxing restrictions also prohibit 1Password from providing browser extensions for mobile browsers. This is why we have 1Browser available within the 1Password app: to allow you to take advantage of 1Password's stored information and filling capabilities.

Currently to log into other apps such as the Facebook native app, you need to copy and paste from the 1Password app. 1Password makes this easy as you can simply tap on the username or password to copy it. (Or, try swiping across the Login while viewing the list of Logins to copy the password!) 1Password will then clear out the clipboard within a given time period to ensure that your important information does not stay in the clipboard after you no longer have a need for it. You can check out Apps that love 1Password to see which apps have added 1Password integration into their interface.

I hope this helps to explain things, but please let us know if you have any further questions. :)

Unfortunately, that was my question, i.e., IOS apps - big disappointment..........................

@alzaba - your disappointment should be directed towards Apple, not AgileBits. No other developer can do what you (and I) want either.
