Editing secure notes

I just realized that after editing a secure note, it ends up being very long because every previous version of the note is taped to the end of the new note. I do not want this to happen. Is there a way to stop this from occurring?

    I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having with Secure Notes. Our developers are currently tracking a bug where duplicate content can be incorrectly merged in Secure Notes when syncing. Could you give me a bit more detail about your 1Password ecosystem please?

    • What are the version numbers of both 1Password and your operating system for all computers and devices currently running 1Password?
    • What are you using to keep these devices in sync?

    I'm also curious if this happens with all of your Secure Notes, or if it has only happened to this particular note. If you're not willing to test with an existing Secure Note, (and I don't blame you if you aren't!) please duplicate the note and make some edits to the copy, so you're not risking your actual data. :)
