Any way to inspect content of an old backup without restoring it?

With the recent Adobe CC crisis, before I realised it was a worldwide Adobe problem, I found I had been logged out and re-logging in said there was an error with my credentials. Since I have changed a lot of passwords lately I thought I might have done something stupid with Adobe CC, and thought It would be good to see what password an old back up had for Adobe CC. There was no password history in the Adobe entry in 1Password.

is there any way to do this?

    I wonder if this can be done using backups. That said a password history feature would be great...

    Hi guys ( @mikebore and @mvasilakis ),

    Thanks for asking and wondering about inspecting 1Password backups to obtain a history of item changes. Currently a 1Password backup has to be fully restored to access its contents.

    Providing item change history beyond previously used passwords is something we're considering. I'll pass along your interest in this to our developers. Thanks again!
