1Password for iPad always produce "pronounceable" password

Hi,

I am using 1Password 4.5.1 on both an iPad and an iPhone 5S (both with iOS 7.1.1) and when I generate new password, despite using the same settings for password length, number of digit/symbols, ambuguity, etc., I get two different results: on iPhone I get what I expect (for instance "en42$mYE") while on iPad I always get a "pronounceable" password like "tash-cha" (the password length is correct, though). If it may help, 1Password was installed fresh on the iPhone, while it was upgraded from a previous version on the iPad.

  • Hi @iaanus,

This is currently a known issue with the password generator in 1Password 4.5.1 for iOS. Our developers have already fixed this in a beta version, and the fix will be available in the next release to the App Store (4.5.2). It shouldn't be too much longer before it's available. Sorry for any inconvenience in the mean time!
