How to "educate" web master about the increase of password manager usage

Hello,

I very large number of web site I'm using a not very suited for the usage of a password manager like 1Password
(e.g. there is a virtual pad to tape your password, there is no fixed URL for the login page, just a pop-pu window which desappear if you "live" the corresponding screen zone, ...)

I wonder If it exist somewhere on you site a documentation about "best practices" for designing a login process suitable for people which are using a password manager.

If it exist, can you please provide me the link. Then I could send this link to web master who managed bad designed login process.

    Hi Bernard ( @bchabot ),

    Unfortunately, we don't have a document right now that discusses the best practices for creating a secure and easy to navigate log in process, although judging from the state of some pages' log in screens, I can see why you think such a document would be useful! I'll mention this idea to our developers. :)
