Uninstall 1Password after 1Password 4 is installed? [CleanMyMac, et al, usage is not recommended]

Can I use CleanMyMac to uninstall the old 1Password? Will it leave my agile bits keychain intact? It's in Dropbox.

    AgileBits really discourages the use of any uninstaller programs. You will likely remove files you still need if you use it, including your data file. If you have version 4 installed and plan to continue to use that, you should just drag the old application from the Finder to Trash.

    Hi @GeoffK,

    I just wanted to confirm what @hawkmoth said. App cleaners can get a bit overzealous and end up removing something that you could still use. Primarily, we want to be sure that you keep your 1Password 3 backups around until such time as 1Password 4 has built up a sufficient library of available backups.

    For the time being, please just drag the 1Password 3 app to the Trash. :)
