Why has this been added? Is there a problem I could lose all of my data in the app? I don't really use my computer anymore, so I'm concerned that there's no secondary backup for me.

    Hi @Elba,

    Backups are an added protection to ensure data availability. For example, if your phone was lost or stolen, and you don't sync 1Password data, it would be lost. Another rare case could be in the event of a database issue, and a backup is needed to restore your data.

    If you don't use 1Password for Mac, copying the backups files over to your Mac is a good precaution to take, just in case.
