Multiple Issues with 1Password 4/3 and mini

I don't even know where to begin. So many screwed up issues. I'll just start listing:

1) even though I upgraded to 4, 3 still shows up when I open 1P via Spotlight (and 3 opens from my browser extensions). My Applications folder only shows 4, so why in the world is my mac opening 3 from spotlight? 3 isn't even in my Applications folder.

2) Ran the uninstaller for 3. Complete failure. Did not work (yes, I rebooted for good measure). I still have 3.

3) I hate 1P mini and want it to go away. I use several browsers at the same time, and mini always wants to log me in to my default Safari. I don't want that. When I do Option + Command + \ in Firefox or Chrome or Safari, I want THAT browser add-on to open in THAT browser. Instead, mini pops open from the menu bar and opens to my default browser (Safari), no matter what. So frustrating. How can I completely destroy/remove/send-to-hell, mini? And how can I really uninstall 3 and only have 4 with my browser extensions in their respective browsers?

(side complaint, while I love 1P, every update is some new issue like this "uninstall this, install that, resync this. Do you have 3? Do you have 4? Did you buy from App store.... ?" Quite frankly, it's freakin ridiculous. Agilebits: make 1 magic button to make everything right across my system. Please.

    Hi @writerjosh‌

I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling frustrated with 1Password right now. I think the most efficient way to get you sorted out here is to take a closer look at your system here to determine where things are getting tangled up. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    http://learn2.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!

A random thought about Spotlight picking up version 3, even though it has been uninstalled: I have had this kind of experience on occasion when Spotlight was showing me an application that was on an attached backup disk, in this case a Carbon Copy Cloner backup. It took me awhile to figure out what was happening (sometimes I'm dense), but I have since configured Spotlight so that it no longer searches those kinds of external disks.
