Lighthouse URL differentiation

Hi team,

I am being offered various logins despite 1P's new URL detection.

The login URLs are:

That is also what I have stored in 1P under "Website". Yet when trying to login on https://project1.lighthouseapp.com/login I am presented both logins (for project1 and project2).

Shouldn't 1P be able to detect the different URLs and only offer the matching login?

Regards and thanks for your help.

    Hi @LosInvalidos‌

I've done some testing here, and the reason that you are seeing both your 'Project 1' and your 'Project 2' Login in the Mini is that the 'Show x More' option that would hide the lenient matches is really not useful when there are only 2 Logins that match in any way.

You'll notice that if you use ⌘\ while viewing https://project1.lighthouseapp.com/login, your 'Project 1' Login will be first in the list, and the 'Project 2' Login will be first when you are viewing https://project2.lighthouseapp.com/login. So if you hit 'Enter' after ⌘\, the correct entry will be filled. If you created a third project on this site, when you used ⌘\ you would see the precisely matched project, with a 'Show x More' hiding the two lenient matches.

I hope this helps to explain things - we're here if you have any further questions!

Thanks Megan. I thought the matching algorithm was so powerful, that it would be capable of distinguishing those URLs. OK, thanks for elaborating.
