Rebuy/Update V4.4: will it delete all my existing passwords?

I bought 1Password from the Ap Store. I had a problem with the sale, and long story short: they issued a refund.

I want to upgrade 1Password, and since I now have issues with the Ap Store, I want to buy a new copy directly from agile bits.

If I have an existing 1Password v4.4 on my system with tons of saved passwords and then buy a NEW copy directly from agile bits, will installing the new version erase all the data from the old version??!? Is there anything special I should do before buying another copy directly from agile bits??Same question for 1Password for iOS.
