Menu Bar 1Password Mini Strange Behaviour

I don't know if this is a bug - I can't imagine it is but it sure looks a bit weird. Maybe it's just the behavior.
Sometimes, I get this where the text is abbreviated. Is there a reason this happens?

    I'm glad you brought this up; it's been a puzzling low-level disturbance for awhile. And there can be some "interesting" cases …

    This looks fine:

    But what's going on here, with the same single matching item?
