Old app for OS available?

I just purchased family 1P for my Mac and my wife's. All is good with my Mac and iPad app. My wife's iPad will only update to OS 5.1.1 and current app will not work with it. Is there any way to get an earlier version of the OS app that will work with her iPad version?
