Autocomplete doesnt work with 1Password on Mac [resolved by configuring Sophos]

Hi - this is my first post on this forum so I hope I'm following ediquette. I purchased the windows and Mac bundle for family, downloaded and installed. No problems on Windows - I havent set up any syncing yet - thats later. My problem ...

I get a "Cannot Fill Item in Web Browser" dialog on the Mac. I am running OS X 10.8.5 , Safari 6.1.4, firefox 29.0.1 and 1Password 4 [4.4.1]. Both browsers have the 1Password extension installed.
What I have done:

  1. With Firefox as the default browser, I logged into a forum I use and saved the login when the 1Password extension offered it. logout and close the web page, go to 1Password and click on the login I just saved. The page loads in firefox, but the fields dont get filled - I get that "Cannot fill ..." dialog.

  2. Quit Firefox, Delete the login from 1Password, Open Safari and set it as my default browser.
    Close it, re-open it and log in to the web site. Save the login to 1Password, logout from the site, close the page.
    Restart Safari [just in case] and click on the login for the site on 1Password. Same story - the page loads, but "Cannot fill .." dialog.

  3. On my PC [windows 7 Ultimate] I am running the same version of Firefox and 1Password for Windows1.0.9.341. Autofill works just fine for the same site.

Any ideas/suggestions ?

    Hi Jasper. Thank you !!
    I had seen something about Sophos in another forum enrty and had totally forgotten that it was running on the mac [duh ..]

    It worked perfectly. Problem solved, thanks for helping, and for the quick response.
