Error Message - "1Password failed to connect to 1Password mini" [try reinstalling 1Password app]

After running an update, I'm getting the following message:

'1 Password failed to connect to 1Password Mini'

I have tried restarting the programme several times, but I appear to have lost the ability to open it.

Please can you let me know how to fix this asap, so that I can access my passwords?

I seem to be experiencing problems with 1Password over and over again now. This is hugely inconvenient.
