Cannot use 1Password to log into Dish Network account
I'm not able to use 1Password (OS X 10.9.3/1Password 4.4.1) to log into my Dish Network account.
1Password is saving the login and going to a login page when I later want to use it for logging in, fills in the correct data, and tries to log in. However, I then get always the error message "Not Found. The requested URL /SamlSp/client/fallback was not found on this server." on the next screen.
I think this has to do with the extremely long saved URL for this login:
https://identity1.dishnetwork.com/saml/module.php/authSynacor/login.php?AuthState=_(plus about 200 more cryptic characters).
How can I fix this? What is the "right" URL for Dish Network and 1Password?
Thanks.

Hi @desertman,
That does look like a tricky site for 1Password. Here's what might fix it …
Edit your Login item for Dish Network so it has two website fields with these values:
http://www.dish.com/redirects/csa_links/?csa=logout
https://identity1.dishnetwork.com
After making that change it'll look something like this:
Please let me know if you're able to successfully fill and log in using that updated item. Thanks!

These two work for me:
https://my.dish.com/customercare/usermanagement/prepLogon.do

Thanks a lot! I used MrC's links and it works like a charm.

Hi @MrC,
Where did you find that first https://my.dish.com/customercare/usermanagement/prepLogon.do link? It looks like a preferable choice to the http://www.dish.com/redirects/csa_links/?csa=logout link I suggested, even though the second https://identity1.dishnetwork.com link seems to be the one that matters for handling the redirects for the first.

If you paste:
https://my.dish.com/
as the location, the site does an immediate redirect to the first link I posted above, and then does yet another redirect. So you have to stop the page loading quickly the catch the first one.
I had noticed our secondary links are the same, but just posted both for completeness.

Yup, I can see the URL with customercare in it flash by… too quickly to stop it. :)
Thanks for assisting with this!

FYI: In Firefox/Mac, you can Cmd-dot very quickly after hitting enter to load the initial URL to catch the initial redirect. Or of course you can use URL snooping tools. :-)
