Schwab.com Issue

I have used 1PW for years at the Schwab site and today I experienced login issues. I get a message from Schwab that says "Functionality temporarily unavailable" Schwab has no general problem. I can login by manually entering data into the Schwab site. I have created a new login without success. I have cleared the Safari Cache without success. I can login to other financial site without incident. I have the same login issue with 3 different accounts at Schwab. Quicken can login to these accounts without incident. This problem happens on two different Macs at our house.

Safari is current. 1PW is current.

Attached is a screen shot of error message.

    Hi @Gordon101,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this Login right now. Let's see if we can sort this out. Could you let me know what URL you are using for your Login? I just created a new Login using https://client.schwab.com/Login/SignOn/CustomerCenterLogin.aspx, and 1Password filled and submitted correctly.

I had a different URL. Actually I had/have multiple URLs. But I copied the URL you provided into the Safari address bar, typed in my Schwab Login and my Schwab Password without clicking the Login Button. Then I clicked the 1PW key button in the Safari toolbar and created a new Login.

At that point I did the following:

-- Clicked the Login Button in Safari and the login happened - account opened as I desire.

    -- Logged out of Schwab.

-- Opened 1PW and located the newer created Login

-- Double clicked the newly created login and the error message appeared.

    Hi @Gordon101,

Thanks for the followup, with steps that you took and the results.

If you change the primary website field (URL) of your Schwab Login item from https://client.schwab.com/Login/SignOn/CustomerCenterLogin.aspx to https://www.schwab.com are you able to successfully fill and submit with 1Password using that page instead?

    No.

If I copy & paste that URL from your forum post of from the login of 1PW AND then manually type in my password and login in, all works fine.

Further if I open the URL you provided and copy the entries from 1PW I can login.

The only ways I cannot login are by having 1PW enter my login & Password -

sjk - I just noticed you had a second different URL in your suggestion. Again the answer is no.

When one enters https://www.schwab.com - that rolls to an http:// site that does not contain a login option.

My previous response (2:18 post) was for the

    https://client.schwab.com/Login/SignOn/CustomerCenterLogin.aspx

URL. Sorry I misread your question.

I just thought of another option which may be helpful in diagnosing the problem. I have an iPad and I fired up 1PW on my iPad and used the same login that does not work on my Mac - it does work in Safari on my iPad. Both the iPad and Mac are run off the same WiFi system - so the issues seem to be specific to Mac computers only. Neither my MacBook Air nor my wife's MacBook Pro will connect to the Schwab site.

Megan you responded yesterday, sjk also asked a question - but the issue still exists - 1PW cannot login to access any of 3 different Schwab accounts on two different Macs. We can get in through Safari and 1PW on iPads and we can log in by manually entering or copying the data found in the 1PW login file.

    Hi @Gordon101,

Thanks so much for providing the extra information here! Our developers are looking into this bug and it seems to be related to auto-submit. If you disable auto-submit for the site, does 1Password fill in your information correctly? You'll still have to hit the 'sign in' button manually, but it's better than copying and pasting. :)

As a final point of clarification for our bug report, could you tell me if you purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store or the AgileBits website?

EDIT: I've merged your follow-up thread into the original post, just so we can keep this whole discussion in one place.

I sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to you. As I've mentioned above, our developers are looking into this issue, and we do hope to have a better answer for you soon!

Megan Thank you -- I did disable Auto Submit and that solved my issue. If your techs/developers would like to access my PC, have me run tests or send anything - just have them ask. I am comfortable with TeamViewer or LogMeIn type sharing.

I originally purchased 1PW from the AgileBits website before the MAS existed. We use DropBox for syncing. The versions both my wife and I currently use are from the MAS. Our versions according to About 1PW are 1Password
    Version 4.4.1 (441006)
    Mac App Store

    Hi @Gordon101,

I'm glad to hear that disabling auto submit got things working for you! We'll do what we can to have a proper solution for you soon.

And thanks for confirming your version information. Our developers suspected that it may have been related to the Mac App Store's version - this will really help us narrow things down. :)
