4.6b2: No keyboard for Safari extension unlock

Hi, another iOS 8 bug…. This one happened when I enabled the share sheet extension. Since I cannot enable qick unlock (a known bug), I got a textbox with a cursor and no keyboad. I got it working via Bluetooth. Hard to say if this is an OS-related bug or not…

    Apparently this doesn't happen 100% of the time. Dunno how to cause or avoid it yet. OS bug?

    I would say OS bug. But thats just me, just like you I am not certain of a way to reproduce. I have seen similar when working in the restrictions section to input a code.

    Which iOS device, or more specifically, does it have TouchID?

    iPad Air, so no TouchID.

    Hi @tjcarter,

    We're seeing a bunch of bugs on iOS 8 on devices with no TouchID when using the extension in Safari.

    If you see this issue again, what happens if you restart Safari by killing it in the background and then opening it again, does it then fix the problem?

    Preemptive answer: Yes. Or perhaps killing 1P does. I've been closing both to good effect. I'll try just Safari and report back if it happens again.

    I'd imagine killing 1Password would do the same thing.
