Login to my bank site no longer works with Safari (7.0.4) - my preferred browser. It does work with Chrome, Firefox or Opera.
I am using 1PW (4.4.1) and have tried both the stable and beta Safari extensions with either auto submit or never submit in accordance
with suggestions given in previous discussions. No matter what I try, neither userid or password can be entered. Manual entry works but a
manually constructed login does not. The url is https://www.vantagesouth.com followed by selection of "ONLINE BANKING LOGON" at the top right (the full url is very long). Mac os x is 10.9.3.

    Hi @jik,

I'm sorry that 1Password filling isn't working for you now with the VantageSouth Bank site. Have you been using a single Login item to fill the User ID field on the first sign in page and the Password field on the second page?

Can you please try manually saving a separate new Login item for each page (with unique titles to tell them apart) and let me know if you can successfully filling using those? I think it's possible to get filling working with must a single item but let's first see the results of a multiple item test. Thanks!

A manually constructed separate login for User ID does not work.

    Hi @jik,

I'm sorry that didn't work for you. Are you having any filling issues with other sites?

No - (and filling at this site works with any browser other than Safari)

    Hi @jik,

Which version of the 1Password extension for Safari are you using?

Here are steps I've used to create a test Login item that successfully fills on the first sign in page:

    • Open https://www.vantagesouth.com in Safari.
    • Click Online Banking LOGIN, which opens the first sign in page (with its long URL).
    • Enter MyUserId text in the User ID field.
    • Press Option-Command-\ to open 1Password mini.
    • Press Command-, (Command-comma) to open mini preferences.
    • Press Command-N to run Save new Login.
    • Save a new Login item, with these details:

    • Close and reopen the first sign in page.

    • Press Command-\, select the newly-created VantageSouth Bank (User ID) item, and the User ID field is filled with MyUserId text:

And I'm able to similarly create another item for the second sign in page that successfully fills its Password field.

    Safari 7.0.5, 1Password 4.4.1 (application) and 4.2.3 (extension).

If that process isn't working for you we'd like to take a closer look at what's interfering with it. To do that, please send us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic and your forum username, to support+forum@agilebits.com. A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful.

    Thanks in advance!
