I have Yosemite running separately from Mavericks by partitioning my hard drive. Can I have both 1Password installed on both partitions?

    Yes you can,

1Password is licensed by the user not the number of installs.

    From : https://agilebits.com/home/licenses

You alone use 1Password on Mac and Windows
You need a single user license for Mac and a single user license for Windows.

Also from : http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/how_many_licenses.html True this is from 1Password 3 but if the guys went to all the trouble to trade mark the term. It should still be good for 1P4 ;)

    1Password Licenses

    Sane Licensing Model

A 1Password for Mac single-user license allows you to install and use it on as many Macs as you own. We like to call this our Sane Licensing Model™—there is only one of you, so we think you should need only one license for 1Password for Mac to use it on all your Macs!

Since there is one of you and one Mac your good to go. Also make sure you enable checking for beta's on the Yosemite drive as only the current betas will work properly on Yosemite.

You'll probably also want to keep check on the beta forum.
