I have just had to restore my iPads software. I had 1password 3 prior to this restore but now when I go to purchased apps the only version available is 1password 4, which I mistakenly purchased thinking it was just an update. Unfortunately this version will not open my .1ptbackup file within which I have some important information. Can you please provide 1password 3 so I can continue to use this program and retrieve my data.

    Hi @macowan,

    If you've previously purchased 1Password 3 for iOS, you should be able to download it from the Purchased section of the App Store:

    • First, please ensure that you are signed into the App Store using the same Apple ID that you purchased 1Password with.
    • Open the App Store, then go to the Purchased tab.
    • Find 1Password on that list and tap the download icon (cloud with an arrow).

    If you're still not seeing it, the purchase may be hidden. Instructions for viewing and unhiding hidden purchase can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919

    Unfortunately, that's the only way for you to download 1Password 3. If you're still not able to find 1Password 3 on the Purchased list, I suggest you contact iTunes support for assistance: https://www.apple.com/ca/support/itunes/contact/
