Why is 1PW Mini establishing outgoing connections to Cloudfront? [answer: see post #2]

Why is 1Password Mini establishing outgoing connections to Cloudfront each time I start my 1PW Mini environment? What does 1PW Mini use these connections for? What data leave my computer?

    You almost certainly have rich icons enabled (1P4 > Preferences > General > Use rich icons). See 1Password and your privacy in the knowledge base.
