1Password chrome extension won't install

I have updated to the latest version of chrome (36.0.1985.125) and am running 1Password v4.4.1 on Mavericks 10.9.3.
When I try installing the chrome extension, it just give me a generic 'error installing'.
Could someone offer me some advice?
