Do I need to buy an IOS version as well as my OSX version to share with my 4 apple devices?

    If you want to sync 1P4 from OS X to an iDevice (which, of course, is very useful) you do need 1P4 for iOS on your iDevices. It's a separate purchase from the iOS app store but it is a universal app so you can run it on any iDevice that shares the same Apple ID.
