iOS 8 Extension: Option to ask for the master password less often? [Moved to GitHub]

For the App itself you can configure that the App asks for the master password only after a certain time (like a few minutes), which is great if you need to switch between Apps and need to come back to 1Password regularly.

Would it be possible to have such an option for the extension as well? While implementing and testing the support for the 1Password extension in my App "iCab Mobile" (my App and 1Password are working great together with this iOS 8 extension. So thanks again for the great new feature), I constantly had to enter the master password over and over again. This is probably not a common situation for normal users, but I guess an option would be great if the user could configure that the extension only ask for a password, if the last usage of the extension took place more than 1, 2 or 5 minutes ago, for example.

Another small issue: when the extension asks for the master password, it opens an alert box with a password field. It would be great if the keyboard could open automatically in this case, so I can immediately start typing. Currently the keyboard remains closed and I had to tap into the password field first (test device is an iPod Touch 5G).

    Hi @aclauss,

    Please offer your suggestions related to the extension APIs at our Github repo instead.

    As for the keyboard focus in the unlock prompt, it looks like somebody already filed an issue on that.

    I'm not sure if the extension could access iOS keychain directly to figure out its lock status but I'd suggest filing an issue at the GitHub repo and we'll see what we can do.
