Cannot fill Item in Google Chrome Code Signature Message while *NOT* in the middle of an update

I've seen the page discussing ensuring that Chrome is not in the middle of an update when receiving the code signature message (http://learn2.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/browser_validation_failed.html). However, I've updated Chrome, I'm not in the middle of an update, but I'm still getting the code signature message. Any hints on things to try to fix this?
