Where do i activate my 1Pass Mac license? [resolved]

Sorry i know this has probably been answered but its late and I'm tired...
So i have the email with my license key but nowhere to put it?
When i click on license and click add license it tries to open files and other BS?

So where do i enter the license key/code?

    The email you received acknowledging your purchase should have a link where you will download a license file, not an alphanumeric key. Once you've downloaded the license file, when you go to the license option in the 1Password menu, you will then navigate to that file and select it.

    Buyers who use the Mac App Store won't have a license key or file. Apple handles licensing by tying the application to the Apple ID used to purchase it.

    In version 3 there was the kind of license key you seem to be expecting, but AgileBits changed to the license file when version 4 was released.

    OK, Thanks...
    I must have older version...

    So what do i do now, can i request a new email with downloadable license file?
